Robert J. Rooth is the president and founder of The Rooth Law Firm. Mr. Rooth received his Bachelor of Arts from Indiana University in 1981. He attended law school at Washington University School of Law and DePaul University School of Law, receiving his Juris Doctor degree in 1984.

Champion For The Injured

Mr. Rooth trained under nationally renowned trial lawyer, Leonard M. Ring, from 1982 – 1987 and was involved in such cases as the Cline Avenue Bridge Collapse Litigation, the Achille Lauro litigation and Richter v. Siqueira, et. al., a landmark medical malpractice case resulting in a $16 million verdict for a partially paralyzed woman.

Since 1987, Mr. Rooth has continued to devote his legal career to representing injured victims in nursing home neglect and personal injury cases. Mr. Rooth firmly believes that fighting for the rights of injured victims is an important check against corporations and insurers putting profits over the rights and safety of citizens.

Mr. Rooth has been recognized by his peers having been selected as an Illinois Super Lawyer for 2021 and 2022.

Mr. Rooth is a member of the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association, the American Association of Justice and the Illinois State Bar Association.

Mr. Rooth lives in Evanston, Illinois with his family. He is past president of the Chiaravalle Montessori School Board of Trustees and the Team Evanston Soccer Club.
